Wiimote Accessory Smashes TV On HSN

18 October 2009 958 views 4 Comments

Well, this is embarrassing.  The Home Shopping Network is advertising a Wii Package, and the host decides to demonstrate how much fun it is to play Wii Tennis with the plastic tennis racket add-on.  It ends exactly how you would expect: an improperly attached accessory and a broken TV.  Skip to 5:00 for the smashing.

Wow that was funny but I wonder a couple of things.

1.After breaking the TV I wonder if he had to pay for it?

    2.When was this aired?

Because if this was recent then over 300 people got ripped off. There selling this stupid bundle at $329.90 when now the Wii w/ Wii sports is now Selling for $199.99 and there is no way that Wii Accessories package is anywhere worth $129 extra. Maybe $20 but not $129 extra. I guess a lot of unsuspecting parents went and bought this. Well while I feel bad for all the suckers out there I am glad I never shop at HSN looks like they like to rip people off.

The Wii may be the cheapest console this gen. I just wonder, did the parents ever take to account the broken HDTVs when they bought the Wii? XD
